1. General Terms

These General Terms and travel regulations are a component part of the Agreement, in other words, the voucher, between the service provider Neven Palčec (hereinafter: the Host/Agency) and the travel contractor (hereinafter: the Traveler). These General Terms and Conditions define the conditions with which the Agency enters into a contract with the reservation holder. All the information and terms in the program and these General Terms are binding for both parties.

2. Offers

The Agency ensures services according to the information published and valid at the time of the reservation confirmation, except in circumstances beyond our control such as illness or death of the service provider, natural disasters (earthquakes, floods), sanitary disruptions, wars, or government limitations.

3. Reservations and Payment

Standard Payment Policy:
  • Deposit: 40% of the total value is required to book accommodation.
  • Balance: Remaining 60% must be paid 40 days prior to arrival.
  • Credit Cards: All payments will be effected in Croatian currency (EUR). Due to conversion rates of card associations, slight differences from the original price may occur.

The service provider reserves the right to withhold service if the Traveler brings a pet without previous notification.

4. Sojourn Tax

According to the Law on sojourn tax of the Republic of Croatia, the Traveler is obligated to pay the sojourn tax (approx. 2.00 to 7.00 Kuna/equivalent in EUR per person/day). Adolescents (12-18) pay 50%, while children under 12 are exempt.

5. Rates

The price includes basic services: electricity, water, gas, bedding, and final cleaning. The Traveler is obligated to leave the premises tidy (dishes washed, trash removed). The Agency reserves the right to change rates no later than 20 days prior if exchange rates change significantly.

8. Obligations of the Traveler

  • Possess valid travel documentation and visas.
  • Abide by house rules and cooperate with the service provider.
  • Present the voucher upon arrival.
  • Security Deposit: By confirming the reservation, the Traveler accepts the obligation to pay a security deposit as indicated under "ACCOMMODATION POLICY".

9. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing via e-mail. Depending on the chosen policy (Flexible, Moderate, Strict, or Superstrict), different fees apply. In case of Force Majeure (pandemics, war, natural disasters), payments are non-refundable, and a credit voucher valid for 18 months will be issued.

12. Agency's Right to Changes

In case of unforeseen circumstances, the Agency may offer alternative accommodation of the same or higher category. If no replacement is possible, a full refund is guaranteed.

16. Handling Complaints

The Traveler is required to immediately notify the Host about inadequate service on the day of arrival. If the issue is not resolved on the spot, a written complaint must be submitted within 8 days of the return date. The highest compensation per complaint is limited to the disputed portion of the service.

17. Personal Information Security (GDPR)

Personal information is provided voluntarily for processing services and eVisitor registration. Data will not be shared with third parties except for the purpose of carrying out requested services.

20. Court Jurisdiction

All possible disputes will aim to be settled amicably. In case an agreement cannot be reached, the issue will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Court in Split/Zagreb, under the laws of the Republic of Croatia.
